About
This pet friendly lakefront home offers the best of both worlds: easy access to the water and a convenient location! Rock in the porch chairs or soak in the private hot tub! Inside the home, the kitchen is fully-equipped for preparing meals for large families. All three private bedrooms have lake views and are perfect for couples, while another open bunk style room has a queen bed, and two twins. It's a nice walk to the village of South Hero, or just across the grassy yard to the lakefront.
Good to know
A great , big family freindly place, available year round! Fantastic lakefront, nice dock for kayaking or swimming. Fishing, too. A half hour to Burlington, hour and a half to Montreal. And great snow skiing within an hours drive also. And after a big day out, relax with a beverage in the hot tub.
Other Details to Note
Please be aware that lake levels change, and generally drop as the Summer season progresses, with the lowest levels in late August and into September. Sometimes it's not low at all!

My family had a wonderful time here. The home is welcoming and clean. Everything works great and the kitchen is well stocked for cooking. The beds are very comfortable and we felt right at home. The one area of the property that needs attention is the stairs that connect the dock to the backyard. There were huge weeds growing through the stairs that my husband cut, and there isn’t an easy way to access the beach because there is no staircase that goes down to the beach. The only way to get there is go down a ladder into the lake (the water is a bit deeper than the ankles) and then walk back on the slippery lake rocks. The dock that extends into the lake is beautiful and well maintained. This really was a minor issue and overall the place is wonderful. It is also walking distance to Seb’s where you can enjoy delicious ice cream after dinner!

this was the perfect place for our family of 8 to stay for memorial day weekend! we were attending the wedding of a family member and this had the perfect amount of space for us, and it was 8 minutes to the venue! the location is absolutely gorgeous! we enjoyed coffee on the back deck overlooking the lake, family dinners made in their pristinely cleaned kitchen, and we enjoyed the hot tub! if i ever have to be up in south hero again, i’ll be looking to rent this home again!

Absolutely amazing house in a beautiful spot. From the moment we walked in the door it felt like a home away from home vs just a rental. Loved waking up early to the view and sounds of nature from the master bedroom. We enjoyed the deck and hot tub as well. We were in town for graduation and although it was a drive to Burlington it was worth it!

This home was awesome! Sparkling clean, beautiful rooms, bathrooms were very nice, hotel quality towels , even soaps & hair products provided. Very nicely stocked kitchen. Wonderful homey and comfy decor . Lake views spectacular! We were a group of 10, mom, gram, aunts and cousins from New Jersey spending the weekend with my grandaughter who is student at University of Vermont. It was truly a wonderful weekend for her & us together!

Our stay was wonderful!! Home and view were beautiful!!!! We could not find carafe for coffee pot. I texted manager and he was there in 10 minutes with a whole new coffee maker!!! Great guy! We will be returning next fall and HOPE to stay here again!!!

This was a perfect home for our family. The place was exceptionally clean and kitchen was well equipped for cooking. The dogs were happy to have a fenced in yard to explore and the kids loved the selection of games and movies. We would certainly recommend this property!

Spectacular home in a spectacular location. We have stayed in many AirBnBs all over the country (and world!) and this home ranks as one of our top two globally. Everything was perfect; neither words nor pictures can possibly do it justice -- you must go and see it for yourself. Our only regret is that we had to check out. We hope to be back soon!

We were up there a bachelorette weekend. It was the perfect relaxing spot to hangout, Burlington is a quick drive away to spend nights out or do some shopping during the day. The view was gorgeous! Would highly recommend for anyone wanting a nice Vermont stay!

As our current place is not equipped to handle many guests we were looking for a large home and local getaway to host family for Thanksgiving. This place was perfect for our needs! Large, well-equipped kitchen, grill, hot tub, beautiful views, and a big fenced in yard for our dogs to run and play. The home is very cozy and spacious. Couldn’t have been happier with our home away from home for Thanksgiving!
