Located on Lake Champlain, right on the Alburgh Passage, near public boat ramps, full-service marinas, and Alburgh Dunes State Park, the Aurora House features four private bedrooms, one and a half baths, a living room, dining room, fully-equipped kitchen, TV, a gas fireplace and much more. Right across the street are your private dock and beach area. One hour from BTV! Please note that this home uses a well water system. It is treated with an injection system and then filtered. See Below.
Good to know
The house is right across the street from the lake. A nice floating dock and great water access make this a home a fisherman's dream! And cook your catch on the bbq grill on the deck behind the house. Plenty of lawn for yard games too! Please be aware, we are at the mercy of Mother Nature with lake levels and temps. The docks don’t go in until it is safe too do so!
Other Details to Note
Hi Future Aurora House Guests. Hope all is well! I would like to be up front about the water project at Poor Farm Rd. As Of 1/1/26, construction is underway, and water lines are in the ground out front! We don’t have an activation date yet, but we expect before Summer. Until then, we continue to use the well water. Thank you for your understanding. Charles *Please note that this home uses a well water system. It is treated with an injection system and then filtered, but Sulphur odor remains strong at times . Although ok for showers and dishes, It is not potable. Please bring bottled water until we get town water down this street! Please be aware the town has pushed back their timeline. It may be next Summer before the project makes it down Poor Farm Rd.

Great local stores with deli, meat counter, and groceries. July 2019 Clean and beautiful home. The house had plenty of space for our family of 8. Easy access to the water and plenty of yard space/parking. The kitchen had all amenities which made cooking/grilling easy. My only advice would be to bring bottled water. We had a great time and would recommend this home.
