We were visiting our daughter at UVM and this house was exactly what we needed. It was so beautiful to be there on the lake, the house was stocked very well and the home was comfy. Would definitely do this weekend again here at the Lakeside Retreat. Thank you for having us!

Roomy 3 bedroom house with well equipped kitchen and recreation options. We had an issue with smoke detectors upon arrival and the host came immediately to resolve it. Very friendly and helpful. On a beautiful quiet dirt road overlooking the lake on a wonderful scenic island. Highly recommend it!

We had a very nice stay at this property. The kitchen had everything we could possibly need to cook at home (plus there's a nice grill out back), the beds were extremely comfortable and it even included firewood for the fire pit out back. The property management company was always quick to respond to any questions and was proactive in reaching out to offer assistance. Our kids enjoyed swimming off the dock; just look out for a few patches of poison ivy on the way down to the water (most of what's along the path is fine; just keep an eye out for the plants with 3 leaves!) The house included beach towels, life vests, and even fishing equipment if you don't have your own. There are several great restaurants and beaches in the area, so plenty to do with kids within a 15-20 minutes drive!

I think this is the best Airbnb experience I’ve ever had. Super cute place, right on the water, and the hosts had thought of everything to make our stay comfortable. Extremely well stocked kitchen, very comfortable beds we didn’t want for anything. Merrilyn was readily available if we needed and the easiest check-in/out of any place I’ve stayed. We will be back!
