The location is perfect for those seeking peace and relaxation on the lake, away from it all. Short drives to Montreal and NY State.

This property is tucked in between other lovely, quiet properties. It's a great place to get away from it all. We honor the privacy of our neighbors, so we request you do the same. Please be advised, the home owners prefer no small children, as the approach to the lake can be dangerous for them. And sorry, we are no longer pet friendly. Thank you, Islands Only.

Parking is for 2 cars only. Only on the gravel portion of the driveway, never on the grass, never in the road. The maximum number of persons allowed on the property at any time is the same as the maximum number of overnight guests is 5. please be advised we no longer accept pets at this home.

The hosts were always very responsive, the cottage on the lake was amazing. We got snow and we had a fantastic view. The heating was adequate for the freezing nights. 5 minutes from Canada border. very clean fully stocked kitchen. the neighborhood is very quiet. A great location overall.

We took a mini vacation to the quiet cozy house directly on Lake Champlain. Upon our arrival we heard our smoke alarm chirping. Shortly after notifying our host, Charles arrived to change the battery. Our host kept in touch throughout our stay to make sure we were comfortable. Because it was off season it was easy driving to explore so much of the beautiful countryside. At times we wondered if we were the only ones in the area! We took an easy day trip to beautiful Montreal which is only an hour away. Be sure to bring your passports! We highly recommend Island’s place for a relaxing time away.
