Couldn’t have asked for a better spot for our family vacation! Four adults, a baby, and two dogs, with plenty of room. The house was just like the photos and honestly even better in person. Beautiful views, great furnishings, up to date kitchen, separate sleeping quarters, and a perfect water set up for swimming, kayaking, and dog splashing 😀. We can’t wait to return next summer!

Great stay at this cottage by the lake in Alburgh. Great location right across from the lake in private neighborhood. Cottage had everything you would need and site manager is very responsive to messages. Only downside was slight musty smell inside the cottage. Overall great place and location and we will be back!

Spent 5 days and had an absolutely wonderful time! I can’t say enough. The only downside is, we didn’t book more days. The house has an open floor plan with a beautiful view!! I had a question for the host. And I didn’t get a text back, they called me to make sure I got accurate information. Small stores and gas are about 10 min away and larger ones are no more than really 30 min away! So convenient. Thank you so much for having us..

This cabin was exactly what our family of three wanted. The location at the end of a private road, up the stairs from our own little rocky beach with views of the bay, and a quick drive to everywhere we wanted to visit made it such a great spot. We look forward to staying here again!

Pastoral setting, very peaceful. Very safe place to walk a clueless dog. Really enjoyed cooking and eating outside two nights. I could have slept forever in the bed upstairs! Make sure you have water shoes to go in the water - very rocky!

My family had a wonderful time here. The home is welcoming and clean. Everything works great and the kitchen is well stocked for cooking. The beds are very comfortable and we felt right at home. The one area of the property that needs attention is the stairs that connect the dock to the backyard. There were huge weeds growing through the stairs that my husband cut, and there isn’t an easy way to access the beach because there is no staircase that goes down to the beach. The only way to get there is go down a ladder into the lake (the water is a bit deeper than the ankles) and then walk back on the slippery lake rocks. The dock that extends into the lake is beautiful and well maintained. This really was a minor issue and overall the place is wonderful. It is also walking distance to Seb’s where you can enjoy delicious ice cream after dinner!

We had a very nice stay at this property. The kitchen had everything we could possibly need to cook at home (plus there's a nice grill out back), the beds were extremely comfortable and it even included firewood for the fire pit out back. The property management company was always quick to respond to any questions and was proactive in reaching out to offer assistance. Our kids enjoyed swimming off the dock; just look out for a few patches of poison ivy on the way down to the water (most of what's along the path is fine; just keep an eye out for the plants with 3 leaves!) The house included beach towels, life vests, and even fishing equipment if you don't have your own. There are several great restaurants and beaches in the area, so plenty to do with kids within a 15-20 minutes drive!

We had a lovely stay at Vancie’s Cottage! Such a comfortable home, right on the lake, with everything we needed for a little family staycation. We enjoyed meals on the porch, watching the sunset!

We had a wonderful time at the cottage in North Hero. Steps away from lake Champlain with crystal clear and refreshing water. Kayaks and life jackets were easily accessible and there was seating right across the water where one could talk endlessly and listen to waves lapping. The swimming area is gently sloping and there is dock setup. There is plenty of space for sleeping and beds and pillows are extremely comfortable. Kitchen has all appliances one could need and there is a grill available outside. The area is very secluded and people of Vermont take hospitality and friendliness to a completely different level. Other than the lake we had a great time enjoying Vermont's famous ice cream, hiking in trails in the area. Everywhere we went it was so quiet and peaceful the verdant greenery providing a welcome break from stresses of daily grind. This was probably our best vacation.

This place was stunning, my first impression was the beautiful view of the water and the mountain range behind. The place was right in my character with its rustic charm. I got up early morning and watch the sunrise over the lake, quiet surroundings, with the peaceful waves crashing ashore, it was heaven. Waking up in the morning to a morning cup of coffee sitting on the dock or the porch was great. I couldn’t have asked for a better place than this. The place is small but was perfect for us. Got a dining table in front of the windows so as you eat you can enjoy the view. If you’re looking for a place to get away from the hustle of the city and enjoy the outdoors this is the place for you. The host answered my questions without issue and didn’t bother us at all. 10/10 would rent again and definitely recommend to anyone who wants to experience this beauty.
